If I lost all my 70,000+ followers today and had to start from scratch, here’s exactly how I’d rebuild my personal brand:

1. I’d reduce the stakes to increase consistency

People don’t want perfect frameworks anymore, they want to see how you think.

So I’d treat my posts like a window into my actual process: the half-formed thoughts, the content systems I’m tweaking, the lessons I’m learning in real time.

I wouldn’t wait until something was ā€œfinishedā€ to share it. I’d share the process while I’m still in it. That transparency is what makes people trust you. And when people trust how you think, they trust how you work.

2. I’d focus on what energises me, not what performs best

Most people on LinkedIn are chasing reach. More followers, more views, more clicks.

But I’ve seen firsthand that breadth without depth doesn’t lead to trust (and trust is what drives results). So if everyone else is focused on going wide, I’d go deep.

I’d share nuanced posts that speak directly to the right 100 people, rather than trying to impress the wrong 10,000. Because when you build differently, intentionally, and with care, you don’t just grow an audience.

You build a community that actually wants to hear from you tomorrow.

3. I’d turn every insight into a format that scales

It’s one thing to have great ideas. It’s another to turn them into assets that keep working for you.

I’d take every idea that lands and ask: how can I turn this into something repeatable? A carousel, a podcast clip, a visual, a short script. This is what turns creators into systems.

Your best ideas shouldn’t be buried in yesterday’s post. They should be working for you 24/7 in different formats across your ecosystem.

That’s it:

  • Authenticity first
  • Systems second
  • Consistency always
