Right now I'm sat at my local Starbucks tapping away at my keyboard. Out of nowhere, a young guy pulls up directly opposite me and introduces himself. "Hey, I'm Devon. Do you day-trade?" Instantly hesitant, I put an earphone in and say politely: "Not currently no, but yes I do stuff online." He was so close to me he was almost drinking my matcha. "OK. It's just I'm 17 in college right now and I'm trying to invest in myself and my future." Instantly I'm smiling - it's hard to ignore that hustle and approach. 30 minutes later I've showed him what I'd focus on if I was 17 again and wanted to put myself where the money is. During our summit, Ali Abdaal practically begged our audience to start using OpenClaw and to play around with Claude Code and Claude Skills. I'm taking that recommendation seriously and have blocked out time this weekend to go through this list of AI training from Anthropic.​ At Devon’s age I was selling websites as a side hustle. Today, a weekend of learning can create a mind-blowing impact for a business. As I write this, Devon’s going table to table in Starbucks talking to anyone on a laptop - curious, taking notes, putting himself out there. There’s never been more opportunity than right now, and proactive, curious people like Devon will win. (Unless he doesn’t take action… which is also possible 😅) Anyway - back to work. Devon inspired me. Maybe he inspired you too. |
