The Effort-Impact MatrixEvery single week you’re wasting hours of your life creating content that nobody sees. If you own a business it’s worse - you’re PAYING for that to be the case. I’m going to share with you a framework that our clients love which immediately ensures that you’re creating effective content. Prefer to watch? I've recorded a YouTube video of this framework so that you can easily refer back to it at any time. Does the highest-performing content always take the longest amount of time? No it doesn’t. Have you ever written something in minutes that went on to perform better than expected? I bet you have. It’s simply not true that our best posts take the longest amount of time to create. In the Effort-Impact Matrix there are just 4 categories to remember:
In the Danger Zone, you need to change your approach. You’re pouring time and resources into content that isn’t working. If you stay on this path, you’ll continue to waste hours and hours without seeing any results to show for it. So many people stay in this zone, either because they’re not tracking how content is performing, or they’re being fixated on their current way of doing things. 2. High Effort + High Impact = Streamline In this category, you're putting a lot of time and effort into content and you’re seeing results - let's go! The problem is that it's not sustainable. In this zone, you should evaluate how you can streamline what you’re doing. You’ve found success, now it’s about improving processes. 3. Low Effort + Low Impact = Strategise In this zone, you’re posting for post’s sake. Your audience aren’t resonating with what you’re sharing and you have a scattered approach to what you publish. You need to re-strategise on the true value you can share to people online. Yes it’s fine to start posting content to get going, but there comes a moment when it’s time to get good. 4. Low Effort + High Impact = Magic Zone In my opinion, the ideal state for content creation is when you’ve found a high-performing content series that you can reliably produce. You’re able to make this content reasonably fast, it feels sustainable, and through experimentation you’ve found the perfect formula for gaining the right type of engagement. So much of the payoff comes from consistency and being in the game long enough to benefit from the compound interest of audience building. Want to enter the Magic Zone? It’s not easy to create content—to handle everything yourself, from filming and editing to writing, designing, and staying consistent with it all. That’s why I started Amplify in the first place. I was doing everything myself for Ali Abdaal, Chris Williamson, and Cliff Weitzman (CEO of Speechify). I was good at copywriting, great at strategy (I loved it), but when short-form...

At a Glance: The LinkedIn Content Funnel - learn how to systematically move your audience from awareness -> trust -> conversion Why most creators stay stuck on reach and never get results Ask these 3 questions before you hit publish Most people post on LinkedIn without a plan.
