Right now I'm sat at my local Starbucks tapping away at my keyboard. Out of nowhere, a young guy pulls up directly opposite me and introduces himself. "Hey, I'm Devon. Do you day-trade?" Instantly hesitant, I put an earphone in and say politely: "Not currently no, but yes I do stuff online." He was so close to me he was almost drinking my matcha. "OK. It's just I'm 17 in college right now and I'm trying to invest in myself and my future." Instantly I'm smiling - it's hard to ignore that...
